Our LONG Road Trip

We Are in New Jersey!!!

As of 9:30 p.m we are FINALLY in New Jersey..it took FOREVER...a six hour drive turned into a nine hour drive! Miserable leg cramping long drive..but in the moment we were having a ton of fun! We played a game to see how many people in passing cars would wave. We met some friendly ones (a honda from VA was our friend) and we met some not to friendly ones who gave us the finger!..those type just need some Jesus :P we danced to 80's songs and sang along to Wicked and Rent! My two favorites :) the sing offs were fun too! It is amazing to see all that God has done around me, all of the beautiful land..while driving I just took some moments and just thanked Him for all He has made! I cannot wait to see Europe and all it has to offer <3 tonight we had a late night dinner at a place called Holsten's I had a burger and fries! VERY YUMMY! And a perfect sleeping meal!..not too good on health..but who cares..i'm on vacation for crying out loud! :P Tomorrow we will have breakfast with Amy's parents and grand parents and then we will be off to the airport shortly after that to check bags in and go through security! Our flight departs at approx. 5:40 so be sure to be thinking and praying for our plane! Thanks so much for following and for reading all of my nonsense and rambling moments! In just 2 hours we will be making our way to New Jersey! After one year of planning this trip, the day is finally here..I still can't believe a whole year has gone by so fast <3 Please keep Jamie, Amy and myself in your prayers as we travel to New Jersey! We have a long drive ahead of us and I just want God's protection as we travel up to NJ where we will stay the night and board our plane the very next evening! I will blog more tomorrow so you all know where we are and hopefully I will have some more pictures to post! Make some comments and tell me what you think! Tomorrow afternoon we will start our Germany adventure! We will drive to NJ and spend the night there and then get up bright and early to catch our flight out to Hamburg Germany! It's gonna be loads of fun! And i can't wait to start posting pictures..I hope I can figure it out! I'm new to all of the blogging stuff, give me tips if you are better than I am..<3 I will post again in the morning before I meet up with Jamie and Amy to take the long drive to NJ!

Today I went to the store for all of the last minute items that were on my GIANT list of things to pack! I can say..I have NEVER packed for 3 weeks! I am so overwhelmed I cannot even begin to explain! So much to pack and there are so many little things that I could forget. The time to leave "the ville" is getting closer and closer and the sweet taste is so good! :) It is just one more day until we are making the drive to NJ for our flight on July 1st! The end of June is here and I cannot complain about how wonderful this month has been! Thank you all for the love and support you have given me. I really am one blessed girl! 3 days until we drive to NJ..!!! I cannot believe this! This morning was the first day of VBS for CSBC and it was super fun! I loved seeing all of the decorated rooms and all of the kids making arts and crafts and eating yummy snacks! :) It was sad though not being able to be there all week..! Pack pack pack..! Procrastination is my middle name though! I am getting more excited about this trip. Tonight is my girls night/ going away shin dig and its gonna be a bitter sweet see you later party! Thank you for following my blog! I can't wait to post the amazing pictures of all of God's creation that's all around me! This is just SO CRAZY..in only 4 days Jamie, Amy and I will be driving to Newark NJ to stay the night up there before we catch our flight on July 1! I cannot wait to post more about the adventures and all that I will see and experience :)
